Junior Manual QA

Expectations:

• 1+ year of experience in testing cross-browser web applications;
• Understanding of software development processes and life cycle (SDLC, STLC);
• Profound knowledge and understanding of the theory, principles, and methods of testing;
• Experience in writing test documentation, test cases, and bug reports;
• Experience with Devtools (console, network traffic, application tabs);
• Understanding of client-server architecture;
• Understanding of MVC software design pattern;
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS;
• Basic understanding of Cookies, Session and Local Storage;
• Basic understanding of API and how to test it;
• Basic understanding of web technologies: HTTP, XML, and JSON;
• Knowledge of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban);
• B1 English.

Responsibilities:

• Web testing of product functionality (frontend + backend testing);
• Maintaining test documentation (Test Plan, Test Report);
• Creating checklists and test cases according to the test plan documentation and product requirements (Checklists, Test Cases);
• Execution of testing, analysis of test results;
• Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs (Bug Reports);
• Performing backend tests (working with APIs, Logs);
• Collaboration with all members of the development team (PM, Developers, Designers).

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Jira;
• Experience with Figma;
• Experience in SEO testing
• Basic knowledge of JS/TS;
• Experience with Charles or other traffic measurement tools
• API testing experience (e.g. Swagger and Postman or similar tools/frameworks);
• Unix terminal (cURL, SSH, Git).
