Requirements
- The client requested development of an online store based on his vision – quickly and on a budget.
- The previous website was unstable, creating significant inconveniences for users.
- Serious security issues threatened the data safety.
- Low conversion rates did not allow achieving the desired sales rates. Thus, marketing turned out to be ineffective.
- Inconvenient UX made navigation and the checkout process difficult.

After a business consultation, the key tasks were identified:
- Developing a new store on CMS OpenCart for cost optimization & quick launch.
- Increase of conversion by optimizing UX/UI.

Team
- Business Analyst – analyzes project requirements, defines business goals, and ensures that they are aligned with technical solutions. Their role is to make sure that the development meets the needs of the market and customers.
- Project Manager – manages the development process, coordinates the team’s work, sets deadlines, and monitors budget compliance. Responsible for communication between the customer and the developers.
- Full-stack OpenCart developer – deals with both the server and client parts of the project. Their task is to customize, optimize, and expand the capabilities of the OpenCart CMS.
- DevOps – responsible for deploying and maintaining the infrastructure, automating development processes, and ensuring the stable operation of services.
- SEO specialist – optimizes the website for search engines, ensures high positions in Google and other search engines, which helps to attract more customers.
Results
Despite the challenges of 2022, including the temporary suspension of promotion due to the war, from August to December not only we achieved but also exceeded our targets.
2023:
- Increase in the promotion budget by 3 times.

- Rebranding and scaling of the store.
2024:
- 2.5-fold increase in revenue from organic traffic.
- 2-fold increase in PPC revenue due to increased brand trust and improved conversion.
